Firefighting services in the Town of West Bath are covered by volunteer firefighters. West Bath Fire Department has mutual aid agreements with surrounding towns. Ambulance service is provided under contract with the City of Bath. The Department is incorporated as West Bath Volunteer Fire Department, and is headed by Chief Jonathan Beane who is appointed as a full-time employee for West Bath.
